Your child will be assessed with a group of kids from the same "baseball age".  Please check your child's "baseball age" using their birthdate against the 2026 Little League Baseball Age Chart.  

Assessments for players baseball age 7-12  will be held on Saturday, January 10th at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in San Mateo
(254 N. El Dorado Street, San Mateo, CA  94401).

Each player's evaluation session should take approximately 30 minutes.  Please see the attached Player Assessment Schedule for your child's designated time slot.

Things to note:

- Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in for tryouts. Be prompt. Each group will start on time.
- Dress in baseball attire with hat, glove, cup, bat, and helmet. sneakers, turf shoes, or non-metal spikes only.
- Only USA logo bats will be allowed at tryouts.
- Plan on picking your player up 30 minutes after their start time noted above.
- Parking will be difficult as there is limited street parking around MLK park.
